Notes from public school - day 110

Random acts of kindness.

Like a flower growing out of a crack in the sidewalk, they bring beauty to the plain and wonder to the ordinary.

Early this morning, I opened my front door and trudged to my car in a pouring rain.

I stopped at every stop light from Don Drive to Berea Elementary School.

I trudged to the front door of my school in a pouring rain.

I felt like Charlie Brown must feel when he tries to kick the football and Lucy moves it and he lands flat on his back.

When I unlocked the door of my classroom and turned on the light, a gift was on my teaching table,

There was a six pack of Diet Coke with one sweet and one funny message attached to it.

My friends ‘random act of kindness’ed me.

Suddenly, I felt like Charlie Brown must feel when he looks at the little red haired girl and she smiles at him.

I felt loved.

Random acts of kindness.

Pass them on.
